Happy Easter

& if you don’t celebrate it then Happy Spring!

IMG_0018

My babygirl painted this.  It’s called “Worm” and it’s on display at our local Publix in one of their display windows.  There are six other painting being displayed by local students.

Ingrid- The money idea in the eggs is great and would save me alot of time stuffing and taping things in and on the eggs. Of course they do like to see the crazy snack ideas I come up with- they put them in their lunches. My oldest is 13 and I was thinking that this is the last year for this type of thing for him. So yeah it is probably time to go to money like you. But they HAVE to have those gross Paas chocolate bunnies that I used to get as a kid- the ones that have that weird eye we would pluck off and eat first- eww! But I will stick to the same egg colors per kid so there is no fighting- In years past I have even done gift cards to various places like the movies and they really liked that! Kuddos to the dollar bill idea- I am stealing it!!

Robin said...

Ingrid I messed up it is the Palmer Chocolate bunnies I grew up with not Paas- I think that is the dye to color eggs. Palmers is totally Mockolate - a bad tradition! And I know how much you LOVE chocolate. Have a great night.

WOW...I actually thought that was a painting by some artist you liked, not your baby girl. I'm very impressed and congrats on it being displayed in public at Publix :) Hope your Easter (very belated) was wonderful!

Hi Ingrid, thanks for the congratulaitons over babble top 50! I did know about it, they had contacted me with a few questions about it. Hope you are having a good week. My Deven got called up to the majors and it was a very tough decision to let him go. He is a pitcher and 1st baseman but now in majors he can only play outfield- only 2 innings too. But he will grow with the team for the next 3 years. The kids are HUGE against him. I hope we did the right thing. Parenting is so hard!!
